The time has arrived to sign up for a truly special dining experience!!! I am very excited to present a great, new dining opportunity to take place on Saturday, April 23rd at 6PM. Our Annual Induction Gala will be held at Harvest Restaurant at the Bent Opera House in Medina, NY. PLEASE NOTE THEY CAN ONLY SEAT 45 PEOPLE. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MORE THAN 45 SO PLEASE REGISTER IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.
Bent’s Opera House owners Roger and Heather Hungerford have roots in the Village of Medina, and have been an important part of its transformational change. The Opera House was built in 1865, and the Hungerfords have poured millions into its renovation over the last 5 years. The crowning jewel of the hotel is Harvest Restaurant run by Heather Hungerford. At its culinary center is Executive Chef/Chaîne Maître Rôtisseur Lionel Heydel, originally from Strasbourg area of France, recruited from teaching le Cordon Bleu in Orlando. He has an extraordinary pedigree, including a turn at Michelin 3 starred restaurant Le Chabichou in Courchevel, France. Bents Opera House Hotel is offering reduced room rates for the evening- please phone to make your reservation and they will honor their corporate rate ($234/night Queen, $254/night King). The menu will take us back to exquisite traditional French.
Some people have inquired re transportation. Kindly advise if you are interested sharing cost to take a bus there and back that night. If enough people express interest I will get a price on a bus that would pick up and drop off at a single destination in Buffalo the night of the event. Otherwise, please consider taking a hotel room that night in Medina. Special rates at Bent’s Opera House Hotel (585-318-2110) are noted above- please mention you are with Chaine when you call. If it is sold out, Hart House (585-735-6031) and Cobblestone Hotel (585-798-6777) have been suggested as alternatives.
